I. Sacred Viewed As Scandalous
- favored/chosen by God may bring rejection from the world
- expect spiritual warfare to fear you away from God’s purposes
II. Keeping Hopeful In God’s Calling/Purpose
- fear not as God’s favor/presence is with you in Christ
- believe in the impossible/unexpected ways of God through His Word
- joyfully surrender as an obedient servant of the Most High God
III. Hope Is A Person – Jesus Christ
- Jesus is the way, truth, and life (John 14:6)
- Jesus gives us the eternal victory over suffering and death
IV Implication/Application
- How did God speak to you through today’s message?
- Do you believe you are loved and favored by God in Christ? Why or Why Not?
- What fears/worries might be holding you back from following God’s calling/purpose in your life? Ask your Heavenly Father to help release those fears/worries into His care and empower you to fulfill His purposes in your life.
