Key Points & Principles: Know the Game Plan
1. Jesus is sending you among the wolves! Sharing your testimony and the gospel of Jesus Christ will not always be received well. Be ready!
2. Be Shrewd as Snakes to Outsmart Evil – be wise, intelligent, strategic, prudent, attentive, don’t be the cause for unnecessary conflict or hardship
3. Be Innocent / Harmless as Doves – be Christ-like acting/speaking without compromising in sin, immorality, or evil ways, difficult to find fault/blame
4. Remove Yourself from Harm’s Way – don’t force persecution if you are able to escape from it, be used by God in other places
5. If No Escape Proclaim Christ as the Spirit Leads!
REFLECT, REPENT, BE RENEWED!
1. How did Jesus speak to you this morning? How has He prepared you for opposition in your context?
2. What ways have you acted/behaved when others attacked your faith and Christian values? How did today’s message challenge you?
3. Do you sense Jesus is sending you to certain people? Is there a holy-love burden pressed upon your heart to share the Gospel?
4. Spend time in prayer seeking direction upon these questions. Repent should the Spirit bring any conviction to do so.
