II. Recognizing the Spiritual Warfare
a) Satan is the prince of the power of the air, the whole world is under the control of the evil one, blinds our minds from the light of the Gospel (Eph.2:2; 1 John 5:19; 2 Cor.4:4)
b)Christ, God's Son came to destroy the devil's work (1 John 3:8)
III. Your Freedom & Identity in Christ
a) Quote: "Satan knows you by your name but he calls you by your sin but God knows your sin but calls you by your name."
b) Isaiah 43:1: "But now, this is what the LORD says, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: 'Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.'"
c) Jesus knows you! You are His! You are a child of God's in Christ (John 10:14-16; John 1:12-13).
d) God sees you in Christ's righteousness (1 Cor. 1:30-31).
e) God, our Heavenly Father, disciplines us in his love (Heb. 12:6).
f) BE FREE - "It is for FREEDOM that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by the yoke of slavery."
g) "All the promises of God are YES in Christ." - John Piper
IV. CONCLUSION
a) REST-ASSURED you are in our Heavenly Father's Love in Christ!
b) Romans 8:39, "neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the LOVE OF GOD that is IN CHRIST Jesus our Lord."
c)"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ!" - Eph. 1:3
