GOD IS ON THE MOVE
There is an amazing account from one of our C&MA Reverends where he found himself in prayer with others rebuking a dark storm cloud that would otherwise prevent (due to a possible flooding) a crowd of 50,000 in Uganda from hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He writes, "Before my Canadian logic could stop me, I found myself standing in the middle of the field, before a crowd of thousands, shouting at the top of my lungs that the storm must stop in the name of our Lord Jesus. And then the most amazing thing happened. The cloud stood still... Together we agreed that the destitute would hear the love of God and that the rain would not come. We rebuked that cloud and once again it moved against the flow of the wind, and away from the field...Something like three thousand souls were saved that night, giving their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ."

DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER?
1 John 3:8 reads, "The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work."
Friends, God is on your side to destroy the devil's work and he will's it so by moving through the faithfulness of your prayers and a child in Christ.

ACCESS TO GOD THROUGH PRAYER IN CHRIST
Hebrews 4:14-16 reminds us that through Christ, our great High Priest, we may approach God's throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace in our time of need! This is such an awesome privilege! The question we need to ask is this - would Jesus endorse your prayers? Do you have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16) that prays the prayers of Christ to move our Heavenly Father's hand? Jesus says, "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you." -John 15:7

PRAYER THAT IS 'ON MISSION' (Luke 10:1-11)
Before Jesus sent out 72 others (notice not known apostles, elders, bishops, pastors) He gave them a very important prayer for them to pray: "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. ASK THE LORD of the harvest, therefore, to SEND OUT WORKERS into his harvest field."

HARVEST INVITATION: WHO WILL GO?
Church, there are many souls that are ripe and ready to receive God's Good News about Jesus Christ for their salvation (neighbor, co-worker, relative, stranger, etc.)! They are searching to know more about God - searching to know who "this Jesus" person is. But like any harvest, if we do not harvest when ripe any delays or to wait when convenient for us, may have the crop turn for the worse. Who will go? Who will share the love of God revealed through Jesus Christ? Who will break Satan's bondage and blindness upon this world?

The harvest to bring souls into God's Kingdom is plentiful but the workers are few. Let us pray for Jesus to send out the workers. May all followers of Christ respond with courage, faithfulness, and obedience to such a HARVEST INVITATION.

For His Kingdom,
Pastor Trevor
